The ones I use are the ones with no physical buttons to press. When you open the case, there is a small green light in the center when the case is being charged. The ear buds will light up red when they are charging. No light will show if they are fully charged. This is the one that must connect to your device. It should announce "Power on.
Pairing" and begin flashing red and blue. Your device should be able to see it as "Tzumi Sound Mates". If this is successful, you can take the left bud from the case and it will automatically sync to its mate with an audible beep. When in use, double tapping either will pause and answer calls, tripple tapping and hold will advance or reverse the audio. Removing either from your ear pauses play or will accidentally resume play if already paused.
Sometimes taking them out causes your device to skip forward or back. In my situation, one of them will occasionally lose connection for a few seconds, but usually resumes.

My headphones will only sync on the LEFT side, and the tapping feature doesnt work either. Ive been trying to figure these damn things out for a week.
